Q. Is there an age restriction for Paintball? A. Unfortunately - yes. All players must be over 16 years of age due to current state legislation.
Q. Is Paintball safe? A. Statistics show that paintball is one of the safest activities around. At Western Paintball all paintguns are checked daily before and during play to ensure the speed and range of paint pellets is within recognised industry standards. Western Paintball provides top of the range full-face head protection and a number of other protection options that remove the possibility of any injury. The only protection we cant supply is a box for male partipants for health issues. Q. Do we have to pay a deposit? A. Yes. To take advantage of the specials, each player must pay a $20.00 non-refundable deposit which must be received at the above address at least one week before your scheduled game. Please contact us for payment details. (This deposit per person is deducted from each individual playing fee.) It is really a good idea to get the money from the people wanting to play as opposed to paying the deposit yourself. It shows you the difference between those keen to play and those that will actually play.
Q. What happens if it rains? A. If it rains, we can still play.
Q. What happens if you have to cancel for any other reason? A. Please give at least one weeks notice or even sooner if possible if you need to cancel your booking. A full refund of your deposit will be given if at least two weeks notice is given. If you have to cancel less than two weeks prior to the game, your deposit will be refunded less a $20.00 administration fee.
Q. Does it hurt? A. Apart from the occasional scratch or bruise, paintball is an extremely safe sport. Protective face mask, goggles, overalls and chest protection for ladies is supplied to ensure your safety and comfort.
Q. What do we wear? A. The paintballs are filled with a non-toxic, non-caustic food dye which normally comes out in the wash. To be on the safe side, don't wear your Sunday best and make sure your shoes are tough enough to take you through the bush!
Q. Do we all have to agree on which package deal we want? A. No - People can choose which package they want on the day and they can mix and match as much as they like.
Q. What time does it start? A. The session starts whenever you indicate. Most sessions start around 8:30am and go through to 1:00. Afternoon sessions can be arranged to start around 1:00pm also. Call for details.
